Chris is a Washington, DC based stand-up comedian, producer, writer, actor, and educator. For over a decade he has performed in clubs, festivals, and questionable establishments across the US, and has done shows in 10 countries. He has opened for a number of national touring headliners, including Nimesh Patel, JR De Guzman, Joe Matarese, Franqi French, Sammy Obeid, Robert Mac, and Tony Woods.

Chris’s comedy follows the trials and tribulations of his struggle with adulthood and figuring life out in the 21st century. His humor is often a reflection of the challenges that many 20/30 somethings face in today’s world, and has been described as honest, witty, and timely. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer and having spent much of his career working in education and international development, he has developed an impeccable ability to adjust expectations and at least get a good joke out of pretty much whatever life throws his way.

Chris is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Grassroots Comedy (formerly Grassroots Comedy DC). As seen in The Washington Post, Grassroots Comedy is a DC-based organization that produces comedy shows and comedic content to educate and engage on causes in a time of need. He also co-stars in the YouTube video series Safe For Work, and takes every chance he can get to seek levity from today’s world through comic relief.
